The Hub — Your Monthly Look Behind the Scenes (Vol.1)

Welcome to the very first edition of our new monthly format: The Hub

Instead of sending separate updates for each project, we’re bringing everything together in one place. Whether you’re following Vampire: CHAPTERS, Werewolf: RETALIATION, Rayman The Board Game, or some of our upcoming titles, this update gives you a clear, transparent, and structured overview of where things stand.

This first issue marks the beginning of a new way to stay connected with you — more direct, more comprehensive, and most importantly, more consistent.

Vampire: The Masquerade — CHAPTERS (Definitive Edition + EPILOGUE)

Production Samples

As mentioned in our previous Kickstarter update, we sent four production samples to our factory in China at the beginning of the month. A few adjustments were necessary to ensure they met printing requirements. We expect to receive the samples in the coming weeks.

Once we receive these samples, we’ll thoroughly review them, checking print quality, content accuracy, and overall conformity with our expectations. As soon as this validation process is complete, we’ll move forward with full localization of EPILOGUE into French, German, and Spanish (only the English version exists at this stage). For the the Core Game, most of the translation work has already been done. However, we’ll apply all the corrections and improvements from the Definitive Edition across all languages. Our goal is to ensure consistency, accuracy, and the highest possible quality in every localized version.

We also want to share the latest rulebook here:

Deluxe version (PDF)

Feel free to share your thoughts or questions in the comments section below!

Repair Kit Details

Some of our backers also requested a detailed list of all the components included in the repair kit. In fact, the kit is made up of all the upgraded elements from the Definitive Edition. We’re happy to share the full list of updated components below:

  • Tokens (15): The COP (previous 157 > new 64), Ministry Anarch (previous 156 > new 79), Tattiawna (previous 154 > new 125), Over Eager fan (new 126), Detective 10, Punk Teenagers 11, Park Warden 12, Young Couple 13, Enraged Pitbull 14, Street Muscle 15, Yuma Mckenzy 16, Vicious Doberman 17, Sabbat Priest 18, Etienne St Dennis 19 and Businessman 31
  • Effect cards (6): Hopeless, Wanted, Elated, On The Path, A Beast I am and Horrific Wound
  • Item cards (3): Brass Knuckles, Silver Shells and Silver Bullets
  • NPC Combat cards (2): Human Deck — Special 2 and Boss 1 Deck — Howl

  • Initiative tokens (4): Minitry, Lasombra, Banu Haqim and Hecata
  • Booklets: All booklets will be fully replaced. We didn’t just fix the major issues — we also took this opportunity to improve and rebalance the game for the best possible experience. This kit includes the complete set of updated booklets.
  • Other assets: The new Rulebook and the Storybook.
Pledge Manager

An update regarding the Pledge Manager: since we still have a bit of work to complete, we’ll be extending the pledge manager deadline by a few more weeks. We’ll announce the exact closing date in a dedicated update soon, but you can foresee the End of July.

Stickers

We’re happy to announce that the Sticker Kit is now fully completed in both English and French! The process took longer than expected due to the extensive verification work involved. While redesigning and rebalancing the scenarios for the Definitive Edition, we had to carefully identify which issues were critical (P1 errors that could block gameplay and needed fixing). The kit includes both the sticker sheets (with over 800 stickers) and a companion PDF guide that clearly shows where to apply each correction to your game components. We’re now working on the German and Spanish translations, which should take a couple more weeks. Once that’s done, we’ll be ready to print and ship the kits to all First Edition backers who want one.

If you’d like to receive a Sticker Kit, just fill this demand form

What remains?

Our team is currently working on an update to our internal tool, F.R.O.G.S., which we use to create scenarios while simultaneously generating both the printable PDF and the app content. We’ll dive deeper into this process later in the update, but for now, just know that there’s still some technical work to be done before the translation can be completed and the app to be be fully completed and released on iOS and Android. Our goal is to launch the app during the summer.

Finally, we’re actively working to find distribution partners to synchronize the production of both Kickstarter copies and retail editions. Of course, Kickstarter backers will receive their copies first, and a strict retail embargo will be enforced.

CHAPTERS is progressing steadily. Thank you again for your ongoing support and trust.

Werewolf: The Apocalypse — RETALIATION

This month, we continued advancing on several key fronts: scenario balancing, refining the final rulebook, and beginning work on the Character Creation Guide. We’re still aiming to release a few scenarios for public playtests soon, we just need our team to fully wrap up CHAPTERS before we can give this material our full attention. Working on a massive game that’s still in progress naturally slows us down, but our goal remains crystal clear: to make RETALIATION the most compelling and refined combat system we’ve ever designed.

From an artistic standpoint, most of our visuals have already been shared in previous Kickstarter updates. So far, we’ve illustrated over 65 unique NPCs, 20 environments, as well as tokens, characters, and more. The visual direction is now fully locked in, along with the 3D miniatures. Only a few models remain to be sculpted for the Terrain Miniatures Expansion.

We understand the game isn’t moving as fast as you, or we, would like. FLYOS is a small, dedicated team juggling multiple projects, and prioritization is sometimes necessary. One of the reasons RETALIATION was temporarily set aside in favor of CHAPTERS is because both games are designed and assembled using our in-house engine, F.R.O.G.S. A few years ago, that tool simply wasn’t ready to support two complex games simultaneously. Since Vampire was a denser, more mature project already in production, it made sense to upgrade the tool in that context, ensuring RETALIATION would benefit from a smoother, more stable development pipeline later on.

And that investment has paid off. Today, F.R.O.G.S. is vastly improved. Working on RETALIATION is not only more efficient for the team, but also more collaborative between artists and designers. It also allows us to innovate — including the upcoming Werewolf: The Apocalypse — RETALIATION Companion App. This app will be available for free to all backers and will offer a digital, faster, and more interactive way to experience the game. We’ll share more details about the app in a future update.

We’ll continue to keep you updated as the project progresses. As of now, things are aligning for a full development cycle to be completed by the end of 2025.

Rayman The Board Game

The development of Rayman The Board Game was completed several weeks ago, and we’re now in the final steps before moving into mass production. Two key processes are currently underway: preparing the retail version alongside the Kickstarter edition, and reviewing production samples for both miniatures and paper components.

To keep production costs reasonable and synchronize shipping, we need to manufacture both the Kickstarter and retail editions at the same time. For those who missed the campaign, please note that the retail version will include plastic standees instead of figures. We are also awaiting the miniature samples, which may take another 2–3 months to finalize. As for the printed components, we expect to receive those samples within the next two weeks. We’ll share photos in the next update! These samples will also be used by our distribution partners to finalize their orders.

All of this will help ensure everything is aligned, both in terms of quality control and production timelines, so we can launch full manufacturing with confidence.

As for the Gamefound Pledge Manager, it is currently still open and will close toward the end of July. We’ll announce the exact closing date soon. We’re continuing to assist backers who need help completing their pledges — and we’re currently at around 65% of addresses entered.

Our Tech and Other Projects

As many of you know by now, all of our narrative games are built using our proprietary tool: F.R.O.G.S. (Forked Roleplaying Original Game System). This in-house engine, developed in React, is at the heart of nearly everything we do at FLYOS. Over the past two years, we’ve poured significant effort into refining it, and while it continues to evolve, it has already become a cornerstone of our creative and production processes. The tool’s potential has even been recognized and supported by key incubators, such as CDRIN and CNRC (National Research Council of Canada).

F.R.O.G.S. is designed to manage everything from template creation, branching narratives, and translations, to QA, comments, validation, PDF exports, and app integration. We’re currently transitioning from a custom PDF renderer to an HTML-based one. This transition, which will take about another two weeks, will drastically improve speed, ensure what we see on screen exactly matches the final printed assets, reduce discrepancies with the app version, and most importantly, preserve data integrity at every step.

Want to see it in action? Here’s a short video that shows more:

And as our games depends on this tool and its optimization, most of our team suffered latency, bugs and lack of features for a while, but thanks to our devs and design team, it is today more powerful than we could have dream of. And because of CHAPTERS completion arriving soon, the work on RETALIATION and CHAPTERS 2 will go way smoother!

FLYOS is also working on two exciting unannounced projects that we plan to reveal later this year. First, we’re collaborating with the brilliant Manuel Rozoy (creator of T.I.M.E Stories and Altered) on a brand-new card game based on a very exciting IP. It’s shaping up to be something truly special, and we can’t wait to share more details with you soon.

Meanwhile, part of our team is diving into something completely new for us: our very first video game. While it’s a longer-term project — and our top priority remains delivering the board games — we’re thrilled about what’s taking shape and can’t wait to show you what we’ve been working on.

To all our backers and readers: thank you! Even though the journey can be long and complex, the entire FLYOS team is driven by your support, enthusiasm, and constructive feedback. Feel free to join our Discord server, leave a comment on this update, or send us an email — we love hearing from you.

Stay tuned, exciting things are coming!

I followed you here from KS updates, hoping you would use this space to post more regular updates, but you have not updated this new ‘monthly’ hub in nearly 2 months now…this is such a bad look given the way backers have already been ignored and poorly treated. This is not the fresh start with us you wanted.
Michael Calleja
Absolutely agree. You launch on kickstarter, you should be posting updates or links there. Besides being behind schedule, I simply want to know when my game is going to arrive. Perpetual reasons for delay while recommending more games. I sank a lot of money supporting this game and the communication as been poor at best. Again if you launch a funding process on kickstarter IMO you have an obligation to provide updates to the backers in the platform to which they backed the game as a pre investor. Still not sure when the game is going to be delivered?:
Gary Paitre
We’re going to post an update this week with more information regarding deadlines.
Gary Paitre
Actually, we did post another update almost a month ago: https://www.flyosgames.com/the-hub-vol-2
And we will post a new update in the coming days…
David
Then you need to provide that link in KS, as the link in your last message there only leads to update 1. Most people refuse to come here, and I always come here through the link, thinking (up until now) that this led to an update page that is current…again, you really need to go back to KS, even just to say there is a new update and providing a link to that new update, instead of just abandoning it.
This is a big mess in communication on your part.
Robert H
I think what probably sets people off the most is the adding of new projects when the current ones are so woefully behind schedule. Retaliation has an expected delivery of March 2024.
Seeing new projects cropping up when that one is well over a year behind schedule, and that (according to another comment) it won’t even be close for ANOTHER year, doesn’t just shake faith.
I can assume more projects are released to keep cash flow going. But in those cases, it starts to feel like a perpetual cycle. And these weren’t cheap. So dedicating a pretty substantial amount to a project that seems to continually be de-prioritized, or even supplanted by new things, makes it hard to want to come back for more.
Backers aren’t payroll. They do expect a release. Or maybe not anymore. I know I have little hope at this point. Which is a shame. The pitch was amazing.
Tom
I missed out on the Kickstarter for Werewolf retaliation. Will there be any more opportunities to back this project?
Juanma
Buenas cuando se prevé la fecha de envios¿
Gary Paitre
Shipping dates haven’t been finalized yet, as we still need to complete a few final checks, apply some edits, and receive the remaining samples. Timing also depends on the specific game: both Rayman and CHAPTERS are nearly ready for mass production, while RETALIATION still requires a bit more work before we get there.
Duncan
As a suggestion, when you say something like “the Pledge Manager is closing”, can you please include a link, or say which pledge manager you’re using?
I’ve backed multiple projects, and it can be frustrating to have to search for which pledge manager I need to check to ensure I’ve completed it.
Thanks
Gary Paitre
Hey Duncan,
Thanks for your feedback, we hear you! You’re right, the message could be a bit clearer. Just to clarify: when we mention that the Pledge Manager is closing, it’s always within the context of the game listed in the title. Each update covers multiple games, and the text under each title is specific to that game.
Hugo
Sobre Rayman Boardgame vi que agora os personagens serão de papéis, porém ainda existe algum action figure incluso nos pacotes com medidas maiores?
Gary Paitre
Kickstarter backers will receive the full set of 3D figures. The retail version, however, will include plastic standees instead.
Timmo Warner
For Vampire: Chapters, neither the Digital nor the Deluxe rulebook as posted say what to do for each level of Masquerade Breach.
They only list the 4 levels 1-4 but the instructions are not there for what to do at each of those levels.
This is page 32 of the Digital rulebook and whatever page the same chart is on in the Deluxe rulebook.
The instructions for which envelope to open ARE present in the original paper and pdf rules from the original game.
Gary Paitre
Nice catch! Thank you so much. We’ll fix this today.
Niberus
Sos ad that i did miss the werewolf ks.
I gues there is no way to stil get onboard ?
MKUltra83
There are plenty of people willing to give away their pledge on Boardgame Geek. Maybe get in contact with one of them?
Gary Paitre
Not right now, but once the game is ready for production, we plan to briefly reopen late pledges. Keep an eye out for updates!
Logan
Hello,
Is there any rough timeline for shipping Werewolf: The Apocalypse — RETALIATION? Not to take anything away from your work, but the entire reason I participated in the kickstarter was for the models, not the game itself. Considering the rather detailed renders for the models, I thought this kickstarter had a reasonable chance of being released fairly quickly.
Gary Paitre
Hey Logan,
We’ll be sharing an updated timeline for RETALIATION in our next update. As it stands, we’re estimating about 6 more months of development, followed by 3 to 4 months for localization and graphic design. Molding and printing typically takes another 3 to 4 months, and delivery — including freight and last-mile shipping — adds around 2 months.
We’re doing our best to streamline each step, but it’s essential that we deliver a product that meets the high standards we set for ourselves — and that our backers, like you, rightfully expect. Whether it’s for gameplay or the quality of the miniatures, we want this to be a truly standout product.
René
Thx for your answer. I‘ll try to keep your optimism and Hope the best.
Gary Paitre
Thanks! I’ll do my very best so you won’t be disappointed.
René
Wow, that means 16 month of everything works as planned. So we‘ll get our games at christmas 2026?
Gary Paitre
It could take less time, as some scenarios can be localized while we wait for the English sample or while an expansion is still being edited. Additionally, we can begin the molding process earlier and receive the 3D samples before the copydeck is finalized — which could save us a few weeks, or even months.
That said, to stay realistic, I would still aim for a one-year timeline.
David
from your message to KS backers, May 2nd: “Our core team has now wrapped up their responsibilities on CHAPTERS and its expansion EPILOGUE. Only our Art Director, Marie Michèle, has some final graphic design adjustments remaining. As promised, we’ve transitioned fully to focusing on RETALIATION.”
from this post, dated June 5th: “we just need our team to fully wrap up CHAPTERS before we can give this material our full attention”
You moved back to working on Chapters? Or the May 2 post was hyperbolic?
Hello David,
You’re absolutely right — and I take full responsibility for that.
Back in March, the team and I were together, and at that point the PDF renderer was still working. The English version of CHAPTERS was nearly complete, and based on that, we projected that we were extremely close to the finish line. However, I miscalculated our needs regarding the app.
Because we decided to move to a single renderer (HTML) so that both the printed version and the app version of the booklets and storybook would come from the same source, we had to completely remake all our templates and CTAs within the engine. We initially estimated this would take three weeks of work. So I gathered everyone — Marie, Cyril, our valued freelance partner Daniel, and Nico (our dev) — and they’ve been fully focused on it. It’s now been almost four weeks, but we’re genuinely closer than ever to having the English version fully finalized. Only the state cards remains, all other assets are done.
The good news: the English proofreading of EPILOGUE is now done. What remains is mainly some copy-editing and finalization of the sticker sheets for Spanish and German, which should take another week or two.
That said, we can confirm the team will get back on Retaliation within the next week or two. Progress will be a bit slower as summer begins and some team members takes some well-earned vacation time, but we expect significant progress through July and August.
Once again, I sincerely apologize for how poorly we’ve estimated timelines. Everything we’re doing is new — this level of integration has never been done before on a board game of this scale — and we want to ensure the final product is perfect, with no errata, ever.
Best,
David
Thank you, I hope you are right and that you find the balance you need to, but I still think you are feeding the viscous cycle of negative feedback. If after 2 months of waiting what you come back with is “we had to work on Chapters again, but we didn’t tell you” (unless they read these comments, they wont even know from this update here), then whatever you have to show at that time will not be received well.
Backers are not even informed of what kind of (expensive) game they will actually end up with after being told about major reworks, but having no details, can’t you at least post something about that?
Gary Paitre
Actually, we did post a very detailed update explaining all the changes. We even created a 20-minute video with the game designer to go over everything in depth. This was shared in update #54, “Creative Diary 21 — Major Design Edits.”
And this highlights the real issue — three-quarters of the comments focused on frustration about delays and other concerns. I completely respect that, but it means the original purpose of these updates is getting lost. At this stage, we really want to engage backers who are genuinely interested in following our creative diary content.
But still, thank you for sharing your honest opinion. It helps us gain a broader perspective on the situation and better understand the backer point of view.
David
Thank you Gary, i appreciate the time and detail you gave me in response and the honesty about the state of Retaliation.
I have only one offering or suggestion: most of the backers on KS have been long fed up with both the lack of progress and the clear deceptions that they have been fed, along with the response from your community managers. Respectfully, I submit that this is very justifiable, without condoning some of the ways they express this.
I mention this only to point out that
a) few if any are likely to have followed you here for updates, understandably having lost trust in the truth of updates (which makes the explanation you had to give to me here correcting this update more concerning, but thats a seperate point)
b) that means most backers have the info that right now, you have been working on Retaliation exclusively for over a month, having stopped work on Chapters (which has already blocked work on Retaliation for a long time).
c) when they find out this is yet again not the case, that you are still working on Chapters, they will be even more angry. The solution is to tell them there as soon as possible, what you have said here. They should already be informed. I know you have told them to get news over here, but this is going to create even more resentment, as I have hopefully just explained.
We’ll post a more detailed update once we have meaningful progress to share with our backers. Most backers are patiently waiting for the game to be ready, but when we post monthly updates that show limited progress — especially when we explain that our focus is temporarily on another game — it can disappoint some and even cause frustration. This vocal minority can create a negative atmosphere, making it harder for neutral or enthusiastic backers to engage with the project, no matter the actual progress.
Since managing comments directly on Kickstarter isn’t practical, we prefer to address all feedback here as long as it remains respectful. Our goal is to return with solid, substantial content in a couple of months.
Ultimately, I believe your analysis is spot on. However, as a small team, we have to focus our energy where it best serves the game itself.
Francisco Emmanuel
Jean-Sebastien
Will there be a digital version of Werewolf Retsliation… I played vampire with the booklets and all and being one of the first to get my copy, I was confronted with lots of error and would probably prefer to have a digital version of Werewolf to have something always updating and to have a smaller box to put on my shelves.
That’s actually a great idea, and it’s something we’ve been considering for a while. Now that our internal tool allows us to go further and develop an app, we’re definitely exploring the possibility of creating a more affordable, retail-friendly version of RETALIATION. We’ll be sure to keep you updated as things progress.
Zackyist
Would it be possible to re-enable stretchPay in the Chapters pledge manager until it closes? I’ve been interested in making a late pledge but I noticed that stretchPay is no longer an option and I would have to make the entire big payment at once which is making me hesitate.
Hello Zackyist,
We’ll definitely do our best to reactivate it this week. A quick chat with Gamefound and it should be good. Stay tuned.
Michael
Very happy with the Repair Kit – despite having to pay a fair whack for it I appreciate you standing by and fixing the version I bought!
kezzzza
Stickers:
Can you pls clarify.
I ordered the stickers on the first platform (i think it was the werewolf pledge but so long ago now i cant remember).
Then i filled in a form (twice from memory)
Do we really have to fill out yet another form, or is this the same one?
It is the exact same one. If you already filled it, no additional action is required.
Fernando
Are you going to reopen the pledge manager for werewolf: the apocalypse — retaliation?
Hello Fernando,
Possibly at some point, yes — but we’d like to make more progress and get closer to completion before reopening it. Most likely later this year.
Thank you for your interest!
Javier
Hi!
Of we purchased the game at a shop, could we ask for the stickers also? 🙂
Thanks!
Hello Javier,
Of course! Please fill the form and indicate where you get the game in the “note” section.
Thanks!
Samuel
“And because of CHAPTERS completion arriving soon, the work on RETALIATION and CHAPTERS 2 will go way smoother!”
Chapters 2? Are you talking about definitiva edition or a new game?
And, when you say “repair kit”, do you mean “upgrade kit”?
Thank you!
A new game is in the works 😉 But that’s something for the more distant future — new city, new mechanics, and a fresh experience. It’s going to be a lot of fun.
But first things first: let’s focus on delivering the games we’ve already promised 🙂
And yes, the “repair kit” is the same as what we call the “upgrade kit.”
Hello, Im a backer from kitstarter and wanna chack my pledge in gamefound for werewolf and vampire, how do I do it? Thanks 👍✨️
Hello Adridraco15,
To check your CHAPTERS pledge, please log in to Gamefound using the following link:
https://gamefound.com/en/projects/flyos/vampire-the-masquerade—chapters-definitive-edition
For RETALIATION, pledge management is handled through Backerkit.
If you’re having any trouble accessing your pledges, feel free to reach out to us at info@flyosgames.com, we’ll be happy to help.
Randy
What about the misprinted Dice? I’ve not seen any updated information regarding that….
Hello Randy,
You’re absolutely right, and there’s a simple reason for that on our end: all backers who purchased the misprinted dice during the first edition on Kickstarter will automatically receive the replacement kit — no action is required on your part.
Only the sticker kit is optional, as not all players are interested in it. Some preferred to receive the full Upgrade Kit instead.
Jesper
Respectively the ones who filled out your list gets new dice. I am still waiting for the follow up on these….
Gary Paitre
The new metal dice will be manufactured alongside the reprint of the Definitive Edition. You’ll receive a notification as soon as production begins.
Mike Garhart
In the repair kit list, you’ve failed to list the metal dice fix and how thst is coming along. You’ve made the promise to fix for oroginal backers but ever update you give fails to mention we’re you are at with this. It would be best if you include this in the repair kit update so we know where you are with this item. I see no mention of it in any of the recent updated and that is frustrating
Hello Mike,
As mentioned in our reply to Randy, no action is needed on your end. The metal dice will be delivered along with the Definitive Edition and all other CHAPTERS components.
The issue with the dice has already been resolved. It was a simple fix. We are now waiting for production to begin so we can group everything together. This approach helps reduce manufacturing costs, shipping fees, and overall logistics.
Pascal
Hello, I have bought chapters and all the extension from the shop of funforge in french. Is there a possibility to get the stickers ?
Is there any chance that the late pledge of retaliation open another time ? Thx.
Salut Pascal,
Trent
Thanks for the update, glad to hear that the Rayman board game is near production!
I only have a few questions from this update I’d like answered:
1: Will the plastic standees in the retail version come with the Kickstarter edition along with the figures?
2: If the set of 10 skins are replaced with standees, could you show those and the finished boards in the next update?
3: When would you estimate that the game begins delivery? Will it still arrive in 2025, or could we be looking at 2026?
Thank you!
Hello Trent,
Thank you very much for your kind words and thoughtful questions. Here are our answers:
1. The plastic standees will be exclusive to the retail edition. Kickstarter and Gamefound backers will receive the version with 3D miniatures.
2. No worries on that front. Only the base game and the 5-6 player expansion will include plastic standees in the retail versions. All other expansions remain unaffected.
3. We’re aiming to deliver the game within 2025, but the timeline will depend on how smoothly the molding process goes. The miniatures are highly detailed, and we hold ourselves to very high quality standards, so there may be some back and forth with the factory. If everything proceeds as planned, we should be on track for a late 2025 delivery. If there are delays, we expect it to shift to Q1 2026.
Andy Bodkin
I must admit, I missed the definitive edition because at one point there was mention that backing Werewolf:Retaliation that I’d automatically receive the Chapters upgrade when it was ready.
Clearly, that would be the stickers, which is fine but I assume now I still need to fill in a form if I want the stickers?
Is there anyway I can sign up to the Definitive Edition upgrade still? I assume that’s out of time.
Hello Andy.
It’s no too late. You can still get the Upgrade Kit on Gamefound: https://gamefound.com/en/projects/flyos/vampire-the-masquerade—chapters-definitive-edition
Thank you!
Andy Bodkin
Thanks, I’ve sorted the upgrade kit now. I assume that, as the app is free, we can use that instead of the books if we want to, although the books and tiles are a work of art.
René
In resond to your latest update: „… while still keeping you fully informed with high-quality updates.„ STILL? When did you start with high-quality Updates?
To the Update on your hub: Thanks for – FINALY – telling us, what‘ll be inside the Upgrade pack. But why you‘re calling it repair pack? Did the Name change? Did you finaly say the game was and still is broken and needs to be repaired?
Did I miss a new Release Date and/or Timeline or Are there just no new Infos?
Did I miss the Initiative tokens for the Former addon chars? You Said, they‘ll be in it.
I got to say, that I don‘t like your decision to use an external site for Updates. That‘s another way to be intransparent to possible backers.
Hey René,
It’s clear that you have some strong feelings toward FLYOS, and we respect your right to express them.
You’re absolutely right: we are including the initiative tokens for the four expansion characters, and we’ll update the post to reflect that.
As for centralizing communication in one place, we truly believe it’s a more transparent and effective way to share updates across all our projects. Unfortunately, the Kickstarter comment section became increasingly difficult to manage, with false information, spam, hatred and even a death threat, which, as you can imagine, is not something anyone should have to deal with.
That said, we understand that not everyone will agree with this decision. We believe it’s the best way to give all backers a clear, consistent view of what we’re working on each month. You’re not obligated to appreciate it, but we do thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts.
Seppo Kuukasjärvi
Have you considered creating ally cards for the add-on characters (Ministry, Lasombra, Banu Haqim and Hecata)?
Hello,
Yes, we did consider it. However, since these characters join the story at different points throughout the campaign, we chose to focus on the main characters as the core playable allies to maintain consistency and balance.
René
Thx for your reply and the clearification about the Initiative tokens. Ofc it‘s a desaster if somebody writes comments you mentioned, there‘s no question about that. But moving to another platform won‘t help, idiots can post everywhere.
I‘m not saying in any Word, that‘s okay to Write something like that, or even be personal. But 99% of the critical comments on KS and GF are based on your treatment and decisions you made. Lies, delays, censorship and other things are responsable for our thoughts and loss in Trust.
As I Said always, and ever will be: I still believe you can make 10/10 games, but you have to learn how to treat your Customers.
We hear you, and I appreciate your honest opinion on this.
Iris
Just to clarify, if we are getting the 1st edition upgrade pack, do we need to grab the stickers too? Thanks!
Hello Iris,
If you received the Upgrade Kit, you don’t need the stickers at all! The stickers are more of a quick fix, while the Upgrade Kit is a full upgrade that brings your game entirely in line with the Definitive Edition.

Thanks for the update. Those plastic standees for Rayman look amazing!! Any chance they will be available separately? Do you know yet if the retail version of Rayman be available in Australia?
Thank you so much!
The components won’t be sold separately, but if we have spare parts available at some point, we’d be happy to send some your way 😉
As for the retail version, we definitely hope it will be available in Australia. We’re currently in discussions with our distribution partners and will keep you updated as soon as any contracts are confirmed.

Thank you for the update! I hope you can continue with other World of Darkness projects like mage and changeling. Would love to see what you can do with those!
Keep up the great work
Thank you, Alice. Our priority right now is to deliver CHAPTERS and RETALIATION first. After that, we’re definitely open to developing a new World of Darkness game.
If you had to choose, which one would you like to see next?

I’d love a Changeling: The Dreaming/The Lost boardgame!
I’ve been a fan of this WoD line since it arrived to Spain, but it was difficult to find players and to organize and play some adventures.
The WoD game system and its adaptation to the dual world of Changeling do not seem easy or intuitive to me.
It would be great to play a Changeling campaign with the ease and comfort of a board game. Or even a WoD crossover game with the possibility to play a Changeling character 🙂

Great idea! Let’s deliver CHAPTERS and RETALIATION first, then, why not!

Great update, can’t wait to see FROGS in action. And having this journal in a wonderful idea. Keep it up!

When is expected to deliver the retaliation finally? End of 2025 or mod 2026m
Gary
RETALIATION is on track to have its full English version finalized by Q4 2025. After that, we’ll move into translation for French, Spanish, and German before beginning mass production. Realistically, this means the game should be ready for production in Q1 or Q2 of 2026.

Hey Gary, appreciate answer and clarification. Understand timelines at this point are estimates.
Forever_Doomed
Hey there Gary. So to extrapolate, when will delivery of Werewolf occur if production is occurring Q1/Q2 2026?
Production typically takes between 2 to 4 months, followed by delivery within another 2 months. So we’re most likely looking at Q3 2026, but at this stage, it’s still too early to give an exact timeline.

Hi. I wad gifted the 1st edition chapters but have no way to contact the person who gifted it to me. How do I obtain the stickers or metal dice?
Hey Donna,
You can go ahead and fill out this form: https://forms.gle/5A2NeZPZLvVndgcE8. Just make sure to include the name of the person who gave it to you. We’ll be able to find them in our system and take it from there!
