The Hub — A Look Behind the Scenes (Vol.12)

The Hub — A Look Behind the Scenes (Vol.12)

Hello everyone, welcome to Volume 12!

As always, our goal is to give you as much insight as possible into what’s happening behind the scenes at the studio. With several projects in development at once, priorities shift, schedules adjust, and a few surprises are naturally part of the process. We want to keep you regularly informed on where each project stands, what the team is working on right now, and what's coming up next.

WEREWOLF: THE APOCALYPSE — RETALIATION — QA and physical prototype coming up

Let's start with Werewolf: The Apocalypse — RETALIATION. The narrative review is going well. We're at scenario 28 out of 29, plus 3 side quests still to test. We're nearing the end of the base game. Reviewing a scenario doesn't mean it's closed for good. Our writers keep coming back to adjust details as testing continues.

Next step: send the files to our manufacturer to launch production of the first physical prototype. We're aiming for September for this, but we're not locking ourselves into a firm date. We'd rather take the time we need than give you a date we're forced to push back two months later. Once everything arrives, full unboxing, promised.

In parallel, FLYOS brought on 4 freelancers as our QA team. They're going through the entire game to flag every bug and sort them by priority. The most important ones go straight to our internal team, who adjust the files as they come in, under the supervision of Cyril, our Lead Game Designer on the project.

While we wait to get our hands on the physical components, here's a preview of several characters who'll be in the game. These illustrations are also the last visuals produced by Rayven Studios.

RAYMAN THE BOARD GAME — Production samples have arrived at our studio in Montreal

On Rayman, we just received the physical box samples, straight from our manufacturer's (Long Pack) production lines.

Getting these boxes lets us test the thermoforming (the molded plastic insert that holds all the components inside the box). We're checking ergonomics, sturdiness, and making sure every token, sleeved card, and miniature has its place so nothing shifts during shipping. Production is moving along well. Factory departure is still on track for mid-September, and if everything goes as planned, we're aiming for the games to reach you in October.

If you've moved or haven't updated your shipping address yet, the deadline to make changes is September 11, 2026. A reminder will be sent across all our channels (email, Kickstarter update, Gamefound update, Journal, Discord, and social media) shortly before that date. For any address change or other questions, write us directly at info@flyosgames.com.

VAMPIRE: THE MASQUERADE — CHAPTERS — The app is coming

Next up, Vampire: The Masquerade — CHAPTERS. The updated web-app is available now in English, French and German, right here: https://app.vampirethemasquerade-chapters.com/.

With this app, you’ll get the complete Definitive Edition, making your playthrough the most polished and feature-complete experience yet.

Spanish isn't up yet: there are still some translation errors we need to fix, and we're working on getting it live soon.

We're also working on getting the mobile app published on iOS and Android. It's always taking a bit longer than expected, but we'll let you know as soon as it's ready.

On the printing side for the Definitive Edition and the Epilogue expansion: we're behind schedule. The Spanish translation still needs a bit more work. The cost of printing plates per language has gone up since our initial estimates, especially for languages where we're printing fewer copies. We're working to sort these out as quickly as possible. Starting now, we'll give you a monthly update through Kickstarter and Gamefound on where things stand with these printing challenges.

We also just received the latest production samples for Epilogue's 3 miniatures. The sculpts and level of detail are exactly where we wanted them.

BRAWLHALLA THE CARD GAME — Figure validation and production handled by Maestro Media

On Brawlhalla, all the figures have been validated by the rights holders (Ubisoft / Blue Mammoth Games). The likeness to the video game characters really comes through. Our partner Maestro Media is now taking over and handling production of the game.

Other good news: combat card balancing is done on our end, and everything was sent to Ubisoft for validation. We actually got the final OK this week! We're almost done with our part of the work. Meanwhile, the final visuals for the combat cards are ready. The design was built to stay readable even in the chaos of a fight.

ETERNAL WHISPERS

On Eternal Whispers, the wishlist count keeps climbing on Steam. We just crossed 130,000 wishlists. We want to give everyone who's interested more material and more development secrets. What we really love seeing is the bridges forming naturally between our board game community and the Eternal Whispers community.

To get you even more involved in development, we're launching something new. A dev-diary published on Steam every two months (and on our Journal). This format will let us share what's behind the scenes, explain our thinking, and give you regular updates on our progress.

That wraps up this twelfth volume of our HUB. Between Rayman's boxes on the way, Werewolf's QA, the Chapters app, Brawlhalla's cards and minis validation, and the growing excitement around Eternal Whispers, there's been a lot going on at FLYOS these past few months.

Thanks for being here, for your messages, and for your feedback across our different platforms. We read all of it, and it matters to us.

See you soon for what's next. Until then, happy gaming to all of you!
